Bachelor of Commerce – Educational Objectives
Bachelor of Commerce, known as B.com is a 3 year undergraduate programme which focuses on imparting education related to knowledge. Topics such as financial accounting, corporate tax, economics, company law, auditing, business and that knowledge along with good communication and confidence turn them to be skilled and efficient employees in their field of accountancy.
10 + 2 (All stream) with minimum 50%
Admission can be taken directly on merit/marks basis or through AGI(CET)
Fee Structure For B.Com Session 2021-22
The tuition fee for B.Com is INR 15,000/- per Sem.
B.com graduates are hired for various Profiles in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Commerce, Auditing and Taxation Companies in India and Abroad.
After completion of B.Com, you can apply in any organization for the post of accountant. Every company requires accountant to keep track the profit and loss of their company. One must have knowledge in areas like Basic Principles of Accountancy, Cost Accounting and Management Accounting to be an accountant. Other than an accountant, there are many career options in this field. Students who have obtained a B.Com degree have the ability to choose from a wide range of professions like accountants, system officers, customer relationship officers, taxation officers, auditors in different fields like Banking and Finance industry, accounting and corporate sector.
The areas in the private sector that are open to a Graduate of Commerce include Consumer durable industry, Telecom industry, Banking and Insurance Industry, Automobile industry, BPO industry, Media industry, Retail industry and a lot more. In these companies, a graduate may start as a sales officer, accounts manager, assistant manager, company law assistant, financial manager as well as accounting consultant.
B.Com graduates can also opt for examinations in Civil Service. By getting through these examinations they can get prestigious positions in reputed government organizations. The person can become an IAS officer, IPS officer, IFS and IRS officer
