Eligibility & Academic Requirements

  2. The candidates must be medically fit and shall not have any colour vision problems. A medical certificate from a qualified doctor is required at the time of admission.
  3. During the course, students must maintain a minimum attendance of 90% in every semester.
  4. The minimum marks required to pass each semester or examination is 75%.

Refund Policy

Applications for refund will be processed according to the following rules:
  • A request for refund must be made within 15 days of admission or the commencement of classes, whichever occurs earlier.
  • If the request is made within this period, the student will be entitled to a refund of 80% of the tuition fee (as per the fee structure) paid to the institute.
  • The remaining 20% of the tuition fee will be retained by the institute to cover administrative and processing expenses.
  • The registration/admission fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Applications for refund made after the stipulated period will not be entertained.

Conduct & Discipline Rules

  • Students must maintain the prescribed uniform (dress code) during college hours, including training sessions and other official activities. Students not in proper uniform may be denied entry to classes or training.
  • Students must carry and display their Institute Identity Card whenever requested by authorities. Consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, gutkha, or any psychoactive substances is strictly prohibited within the Institute premises.
  • At the time of admission, parents/guardians must provide the name and contact details of a local guardian for emergency situations.
  • Students must maintain discipline, decorum, and respect within the campus, hostel, and public places.
  • Any involvement in anti-national, anti-government, or anti-social activities, including ragging, will result in immediate termination of admission. Such cases will be reported to the appropriate government authorities as per law.
  • As per the directive of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, ragging is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the Institute premises. Students are expected to maintain healthy and respectful relationships.
  • The use of mobile phones is prohibited in classrooms and workshops.
  • Tuition fees must be paid on or before the due date set by the Institute.
  • Any damage to Institute property caused by a student must be repaired or replaced at the student’s expense
  • All students are required to abide by the Institute’s rules and regulations, which may be revised from time to time.
  • The decision of the Management shall be final and binding in all matters related to academics, administration, or student conduct.
  • All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Dehradun courts.
  • Non-compliance with any of the above rules may result in disciplinary action, including termination from the Institute, and parents/guardians will be duly informed.

Disclosure

All students and their parents/guardians are advised to carefully read and understand the following:
  • Alpine Institute of Aeronautics, Dehradun (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) operates independently and retains full authority over its administrative and financial decisions.
  • The Institute offers an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) Course, approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.
  • The AME course is conducted in strict compliance with DGCA regulations.
  • Within the legal framework, the Institute reserves the right to modify its curriculum (as per DGCA directives), course structure, and policies related to administration, admission, examination, fees, placements, scholarships, and other academic matters.
  • Such changes, when made, shall be binding on all students.
